Two young people from Lamia were seriously injured in a traffic accident that occurred on Sunday night in the new district of Lamia.
The accident happened just before 11:00 at night, in a big bend of the new ring road (at the height of the stable), when the driver of the Saxo due to excessive speed lost control in the bend, the car overturned and ended up on the bars in edge of the street.
From the deflection the two friends, the 37-year-old driver and 28-year-old passenger, were trapped inside the overturned car and it took the intervention of the firefighters and rescuers of the EKAV to extricate them from the car.
According to the report of LamiaReport, both were recovered seriously injured, however their lives seem to be in danger.
Police officers from the Traffic, Immediate Action and the Lamia Department, men from the 7th EMAK, Firefighters from Lamia and rescuers from the EKAV were at the scene, who transported the injured to the General Hospital of Lamia.
