Due to the execution of works in the framework of the project “Interconnection of the electricity transmission system through direct current of Attica – Crete – Greek section 3.10.3 of the PCI Euroasia Interconnector”
In practice traffic regulations in Athens – Corinth national road from Friday (24/11) the Traffic is proceeding, due to the execution of works in the framework of the project “Interconnection of the electricity transmission system through direct current Attica – Crete – Greek section 3.10.3 of the PCI Euroasia Interconnector”.
Specifically, over time from November 24, 2023 to May 31, 2024, during the hours 07:00 to 18:00, with the exception of weekends and holidays, the following traffic regulations will be implemented:
PHASE I
– Temporary and partial suspension of vehicular traffic at the right end of the roadway of N.E.O. Athens – Corinth at road 23.00, traffic flow towards Athens, which also includes the emergency lane (LEA), maximum length 323 m.
During the above works, vehicle traffic will be conducted from the remaining width of the roadway.
PHASE B
– Temporary and partial suspension of vehicular traffic on the left end of the roadway of Digeni Akrita Street, traffic flow towards Athens, which contributes to the N.E.O. Athens – Corinth.
During the above works, vehicle traffic will be conducted from the remaining width of the roadway.
PHASE III
– Temporary and partial suspension of vehicular traffic on the left and right edge of the roadway of Digeni Akrita Street, traffic flow towards Athens, until its junction with Arkadiou Street.
The traffic of vehicles heading towards Athens will be conducted from the remaining width of the roadway.
The traffic of vehicles heading towards Nea Peramos will be interrupted at its junction with Trebizontos street and will be diverted to the left Trebizontos – to the right Aristidou – to the right Arkadiou and to the right Digeni Akrita.
The Traffic Authority appeals to the drivers of vehicles to be especially careful when passing through the work points and to follow the existing road markings.
