Widow of Erasmo Carlos, Fernanda Esteves paid tribute to the singer and composer, who died exactly one year ago, on November 22, 2022, at the age of 81, after facing an edemigenic syndrome, which causes an accumulation of fluid in the body’s tissues, causing edema and swelling. The disease is a consequence of problems in organs such as the liver, kidneys and heart.
On her Instagram profile, Fernanda Esteves shared two home videos of Erasmo Carlos, this Wednesday (22), and wrote about how much she misses her husband. “I loved talking to you, but when I saw you talking to someone I was mesmerized,” she began. “Living with you made me believe that you were the rule, that the world was beautiful and fluid. You were the exception. You made the world better” she concluded in the first video.
Hours later, the educator posted another video and acknowledged that she felt lost without her partner. “I left a Fernanda along the way, but the voice is the same, the look, maybe the smell, the laugh, even the crying. Come. There’s no need to be in a hurry, in a year I realized that I can handle anything, including waiting”, he wrote in the caption. The couple had a 12-year relationship.
Tremendão, as Erasmo was known, was Roberto Carlos’ greatest partner. He composed dozens of classic songs and released more than 30 albums, including those made in the studio and those recorded live.
