The Hellenic Spirit of ANEK, which was trying to dock at the port of Patras last night, coming from Italy, hit the harbor wall.

The ship was having difficulty mooring due to the gale force winds blowing in the area.

The port in its attempt to tie up, almost collided with a fuel barge on site.

The ship was supposed to depart for Italy, but was eventually grounded.
