Another “no” to the request for suspension of execution of his sentence was received by once the Golden Dawn nuclear chief in the Perama Anastasios Pantazis from the Five-Member Court of Appeal of Suspensions.

For the second time, the court rejected the reasons invoked by the convict sentenced to 10 years in prison and 2 years in prison – for criminal organization and attacks against Egyptian fishermen and PAME posters – in order to obtain his exit from prison.

The doomed for her action criminal organization Chrysi Avgi also invoked in this request the health reasons of him and members of his family in order to prove excessive damage that exists from his stay in the penitentiary. He further argued in court that in a few months he completes the period required to apply for conditional dismissal and while the Court of Appeal of the case has not been determined. According to his defense, there is an issue of “unfair trial and a reasonable length of trial, while a right to the European Court of Justice is also established”. Anastasios Pantazis’s employer was examined as a witness in the trial, who referred to the serious financial problems faced by the family, which has the convict himself as a source of income.

The court, with a similar prosecutor’s proposal that ruled that there were no grounds for suspension, ruled that for the disease he invokes, there is a stage of treatment with a ruling that at the same time that the family issues he raises, belong to “normal cases concerning the majority of citizens” .
