In the investigation of eleven cases of thefts and burglaries (nine completed and two attempts) with a loot of 53,140 euros, police officers of the Heraklion Security Directorate proceeded, arresting two citizens against whom a case file was filed for distinguished cases of theft, as well as the arrest of a woman, for violation of the Law on Narcotic Substances.
More specifically, as emerged from the police investigation and preliminary investigation and after the appropriate utilization of data, during the time period from 22.08.2023 to 17.11.2023, the two citizens had jointly committed the thefts and burglaries, removing bank checks, security camera recorders, a safe, a two-wheeled motorcycle, and electronic devices.
In searches carried out in the homes of the nationals by policemen of the Heraklion Security Sub-Directorate in collaboration with policemen of the Two-Wheel Policing Team of the Heraklion Direct Action Department, the sum of six hundred and seventy-three euros, four hundred and two drug tablets, an iron crowbar, two electronic cigarettes and three mobile phones. The preliminary investigation is carried out by the Security Directorate of Heraklion.
