The Panhellenic Federation of Taxis and Marketers (P.O.E.I.T.A.) calls the trade unions of taxi drivers and marketers to two repeated 48-hour nationwide strike actions, starting today, Monday, December 4, in response to the tax bill.

In particular, the Panhellenic Federation of Taxis and Merchants decided to proceed from today, Monday 4/12/23 at 5:00 am. and until Friday at 5:00 a.m. in two repeated 48-hour nationwide strike actions.

The Federation calls on all the primary unions of the country to undertake any mobilization they deem necessary, in addition to the strike.

“No taxis on the road, the government must understand that our industry is being destroyed,” she points out in a related announcement.

It is recalled that the Attica Taxi Drivers’ Union (SATA) for its part announced that with a unanimous decision of all factions the escalation of strike actions on December 5 & 6, holding a 48-hour strike and expressing “the anger and indignation of thousands of motorists for the tax government attack”.

The taxi owners of Attica will strike on December 5 and 6.
