The Single Aid Application 2023 will remain open until December 15, giving farmers and breeders the opportunity to make corrections.

According to an announcement by OPEKEPE, the impermissible corrections are the following:

1. Digitization of agricultural plots:

Digitization is not allowed outside the originally defined parcel boundaries. “Original Boundaries” means the boundaries of the parcels as they have been recorded at the time of advance payment. In the event that the new geometry of a parcel exceeds these limits and the additional area is greater than 50 square meters, the change is not permitted. A plot of land can be divided into two parts as long as both are within the original boundaries.

2. Requests for aid:

It is not allowed to add claims for: Basic Income Support, Intervention P3-71 (M13), Young Farmers, Special Aid for Cotton or Coupled Aid for Rice and Maize.

It is noted that the corrections that will be made to the IACS will be taken into account in the payment of the Basic Support, which is expected to be made before Christmas.
