The market is moving in a festive rhythm from today as the opening hours of the stores for the Christmas and New Year period begin.
It will also be implemented in supermarkets tomorrow the “Christmas Basket” which will run until Wednesday January 3 and will feature six different categories of food, which are essential for the festive table.
Store hours
The shops will be open every day from today from 9 am to 9 pm and on Saturdays from 9 am to 6 pm.
On Sunday, December 17, as well as on both Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, which fall on a Sunday this year, the shops will also be open.
Optional store opening hours for Sundays are from 11:00 to 20:00, except for New Year’s Eve 31 December, which will be from 09:00 to 18:00.
The stores will be closed on Monday 25 and Tuesday 26 December as well as on Monday 1 January and Tuesday 2 January.
Christmas basket
As decided, the “Christmas Basket” will contain the following six products:
- Lamb
- Kid
- Turkey
- Greek sweet bread
- King pie
- Chocolate
