Two minor girls, aged 13 and 16, are accused of robbing a vehicle driver in Patras.

The 16-year-old accused of the robbery against the driver in his car is already in the hands of the police, while her 13-year-old sister is being sought.

In particular, the two girls opened the doors of the vehicle and got into it, surprising the driver, whom they robbed. Exercising physical violence, they immobilized the old man, managing to grab his wallet containing the amount of money 120 euros, a bank card and documents.

The incident happened the day before yesterday afternoon and was reported to the police officers of the Patras Security Directorate, who filed a case for robbery against unknown perpetrators. The Police are conducting investigations to locate and arrest them.

A 16-year-old girl was arrested, yesterday afternoon, in Patras, by police officers of the Patras Security Sub-Directorate, against whom a criminal case was filed for robbery.

For the same case, a case was filed against a 13-year-old minor, whose full details have been identified, while at the same time a case was filed against the mother of the minor girls for neglecting their supervision.

In particular, the day before yesterday afternoon, in Patras, the 13-year-old minor, (an accomplice) boarded an old man’s car, against his will, and they went to a place where the 16-year-old defendant was waiting, who boarded the vehicle and, by exercising physical violence, removed from the victim his wallet, which contained 120 euros, a bank card and documents.

The juveniles then fled and handed over the stolen bank card to unknown accomplices, who made contactless transactions at a grocery store.

In order to investigate the incident, a thorough investigation was carried out by the police officers of the Security Directorate of Patras, who identified the full details of the minor defendant, resulting in her identification and arrest.

The arrested woman was taken to the Prosecutor of First Instance of Patras.
