“It is a fact that today we have the restart of passenger routes along the entire length of the line from Athens to Thessaloniki, after the disaster caused by “Daniel”, and it is the second essential step for the restructuring of the Greek railway. I remind you that the first step was preceded a few days ago with the freight routes and next is the total rehabilitation of the railway network costing 200 million euros with funding from the Recovery and Resilience Fund in the coming months” said Minister Chr. Staikouras.
