The Patras Santa Bike took place as part of the Christmas is… 2023 celebrations
Today, Saturday, December 16, Patras turned into a city of Santa Claus. Dozens of cyclists dressed in red flooded the streets giving a special festive color to their passage through central points.
The Patras Santa Bike was held again this year by the Cultural Organization of the Municipality of Patras as part of the festive events entitled “Christmas is… 2023”, in collaboration with the Cycling Club of Patras.
With the slogan “Become Santa Claus for a day” and experience the magic of Christmas on a bicycle, the bike ride started from Ypsiles Alonia square, which went through Sisini, Gounari, Corinthou, Zaimi, Maizonos Square streets Georgiou I’, town hall (Maisonos), Gounari, Corinth ended up in the upper part of Georgiou square.
The dozens of cyclists dressed as Santa Clauses were circulating in the heart of Patras, spreading smiles and love and trying to share joy by sending a message of optimism to young and old.
The Physical Education Teachers’ Union of Patras (ESFAAP) and the “Carnival – Patras” non-profit organization participated in the event with the musical float.
