Payments in detail
A total of 2,593,659,939 euros will be paid to 5,901,178 beneficiaries, from 18 to 22 December 2023, as part of the scheduled payments of the e-EFKA and the Public Employment Service (DYPA).
In particular, as stated by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security in its announcement:
1. The e-EFKA will make the following payments, as part of the organization’s regular payments:
– from 18 to 22 December 2023, 30.7 million euros will be paid to 1,350 beneficiaries following the issuance of one-off decisions,
– on December 20, 2023, 14,263,475 euros will be paid to 33,109 beneficiaries for cash benefits (maternity, pregnancy, sickness, accident, funeral expenses),
– on December 19 and 21, 2023, 2,248,539,564 euros will be paid to 4,087,582 beneficiaries for payment of main and auxiliary pensions for the month of January 2024,
– on December 22, 2023, 6.1 million euros will be paid for the payment of pension advances (of Law 4778/21) for the month of January 2024 to 15,500 pensioners,
– on 18 December 2023, 148,556,000 euros will be paid to 975,087 beneficiaries of the social solidarity allowance and
– on December 20, 2023, 102,800,900 euros will be paid to 730,550 beneficiaries of the personal difference allowance.
2. DYPA will pay:
– 18 million euros to 31,000 beneficiaries for unemployment benefits and other benefits,
– 24 million euros to 26,000 beneficiaries under subsidized employment programs and
– 700,000 euros to 1,000 mothers for subsidized maternity leave.
