Both were prosecuted
Two neighbors were brought to justice who argued about parking and got into a fight. The incident was recorded on Wednesday night, in Evosmos, Thessaloniki.
The case file states the following: following a verbal incident over a parking space, a 63-year-old man threatened, abused and hit a 37-year-old military man in the thigh with a piece of hard plastic pipe. With the same object he caused damage to the latter’s car.
Then the 37-year-old punched and kicked, abused and threatened the 63-year-old, who was taken to the “G. Papanikolaou” where he was given first aid and left while he was then arrested by the police.
Today, he was taken to the criminal prosecution prosecutor who charged him with the following charges: Threat, insult, damage to foreign property, carrying a weapon and using a weapon. He was referred to be tried at the Single-member Misdemeanor Court, in a regular trial, and was released.
The 37-year-old was initially brought before the military justice but then joined the Prosecutor’s Office. Criminal charges were brought against him for threats, insults and simple bodily harm, while with a regular trial he was referred to be tried in the same court as the 63-year-old.
