The process of submitting the dossiers for the 1st Stage – Pre-selection of the Tender for the nomination of the Contractor of the “6th Jetty, Expansion of Port Infrastructure” project was completed today at noon. As announced by OLTH ae “an expression of interest was submitted by four (4) interested schemes (in alphabetical order), as follows:

• “ARCHIRODON GROUP NV”

• “K/X AVAX S.A. – ETERMAR SA”

• “UNION OF FINANCIAL AGENCIES ACTOR S.A.T.E. – CHRISTOFOROS D.KONSTANTNIDIS S.A.”

• “METKA – TEKAL S.A. JOINT VENTURE”

Upon completion of the 1st Stage evaluation, which will take place within January 2024, the pre-selected ones will be invited by OLTH SA. to submit binding offers for their participation in the 2nd final stage of the tender, which concerns the execution of the Project.

In the middle of last month, ΟΛTH ae had announced its decision to re-announce the tender process for the selection of the Contractor for the “6th Jetty, Expansion of Port Infrastructure” Project, “due to the new requirements arising from the legislative change in the licensing method, in order to achieve the best terms for the Company”.

The factors that were taken into account for the re-announcement decision – as noted by the APE-MPE in a related telegram of November 15 – were the requirements of the revised legislative framework for port planning and development issues, but also the new conditions shaped by international events, such as the pandemic and the war in Ukraine, which led to significant revaluations of basic building materials.

Sources of the management of THA ae have assured that there will be no further delay in the implementation of the project and the selection of the temporary contractor will be made within the first quarter of 2024.
