The murder of a 71-year-old man by his own son in Kalyvia Attica has caused a shock.
The tough crime took place last night at the victim’s home while according to his secure information skai.gr The 16-year-old parricide managed to inflict multiple wounds on his father’s abdomen, chest and back resulting in his fatal injury.
According to the data so far, it appears that the perpetrator attacked with two knives to the 71-year-old.
The 16-year-old killed his father after an argument and then called his mother to tell her what he had done. Ekelini immediately informed the police, who arrived at the house and arrested the teenager.
Police sources tell how the perpetrator was not facing any psychiatric problem, nor is he related to narcotics.
As for the victim, the 71-year-old had two children with his ex-partner and mother of the 16-year-old.
His older brother did not live with the victimwhile the 16-year-old lived with the victim until he came of age.
“He abused us for years”
In a first statement that the perpetrator gave to the police, he said that he had suffered chronic abuse and offensive behavior both himself and his mother from his 71-year-old father.
He even allegedly supported his testimony how he waited until he was of age to leave he too but could not stand it and attacked him.
