As the hours pass, the pieces of the puzzle of the cold-blooded murder of the 71-year-old man last night in Kalyvia Attica by his 16-year-old son are being filled in, and the details that are coming to light are shocking.

According to police sources, before the crime, the juvenile perpetrator was a parricide he was having fun with his 19-year-old brother and his Moldovan mother in Athens. Around 21:00 he returned to his home on Galinis Street in Kalyvia.

A little while later the victim returned home and after quarrel that they had, the 16-year-old me two knives -specifically a knife and a blade- attacked him by stabbing him in the chest, abdomen and neck, fatally injuring him.

The 71-year-old, covered in blood, tried to escape but it was too late. In his attempt to go down the stairs to escape, he fell dead in the ground floor courtyard.

The 16-year-old – who is accused of “manslaughter” – he immediately contacted his mother where he described to them what had happened while he testified to the police officers who shortly after handcuffed him that he was living a daily nightmare behind the closed doors of his father’s house.

In his testimony he also said that he could no longer bear the insults and abuse from his father and killed him.

Police sources told that the perpetrator was not facing any psychiatric problem, nor is he related to narcotics.

His mother and brother had abandoned the 71-year-old

The victim had two children with his ex-partner and mother of the 16-year-old, originally from Moldova.

His older brother had left home with their mother, while the 16-year-old lived with his father until he came of age.

The victim was a local media publisher and website owner.
