The investigation by police officers of the Property Crimes Department of the Thessaloniki Security Directorate led to the investigation of distinguished cases of theft from two companies in the area of ​​Kalamaria, and two local gang members, aged 19 and 33 respectively, were identified as perpetrators.
As stated in today’s police announcement, a case file was filed against the perpetrators for criminal organization – gang and distinguished cases of theft, while one of them (19 years old) was arrested by police officers of the Direct Action Directorate of Thessaloniki, yesterday, in the area of ​​Kordelios.
According to the police investigation, the aforementioned two arrested persons, acting with accomplices, during the period of June 2023 – July 2023, broke into two companies in the area of ​​Kalamaria, obtaining the total amount of money of 283,000 euros.
In the context of their illegal action, as stated in the police announcement, for their transition and removal from the places where the burglaries were committed, they used a specific car, the color of which they changed, as the case may be, in order to mislead the police authorities.
The aforementioned vehicle was located by police officers of the Property Crimes Department in an area of ​​Attica and confiscated. The arrested person will be taken to the competent judicial authorities, while the investigation continues to identify the other members of the gang.
