“The Church respects and blesses the family as we know it”, emphasized the Metropolitan of Patras
Vertically opposed to procreation by same-sex couples, he appeared in today’s sermon Metropolitan Chrysostomos of Patras.
“The Church knows and blesses the marriage between a man and a woman and walks according to the teaching of our Lord Jesus Christ”, he said and added that: “It respects and blesses the family in the form that we all know and accept and it will never to come to terms with “standards” which are introduced at the expense of this same ontology and physiology of man, as God created him and at the expense of the sacred institution of the family and the sacred traditions of our country”.
As stated in the Announcement of the Holy Metropolis of Patras:
From the pulpit of the Metropolitan Church of the Evangelist of Patras, Sunday, after Christ’s Nativity, the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Patras, Mr. Chrysostom, in his sermon, mentioned, among others, the hypocritical Herod, who persecuted our Lord Jesus Christ and killed thousands of Infants, in order to destroy the Incarnate Lord. Herod, His Holiness noted, had a bitter and terrible end.
Then he spoke of the contemporary Herods, who are those who do not allow children to be born and kill them before they see the light of the sun; those who kill children in military operations and finally those who want to legislate against children, not caring about them. their rights, that is, those who promote procreation by same-sex “couples”.
