Traffic regulations on the PATHE highway will be in effect, according to an announcement by the Thessaloniki Traffic Directorate, in order to carry out restoration work on the old bridge of the Axios river.
Specifically, in the relevant announcement it is pointed out that, from next Monday, in the framework of restoration works of the old bridge of the Axios river by the company EGNATIA ODOS SA. and for as long as the works last, the path from Athens to Thessaloniki of the PATHE highway will be blocked, from the level of the Malgaro toll road to the level of the A/K Axios.
The traffic of vehicles heading towards Thessaloniki will be conducted from one traffic lane by diverting them to the path from Thessaloniki to Athens of the PATHE highway.
It is noted that, for the same period of time, the passage through the Malgaron toll station of all vehicles moving towards Thessaloniki, will be carried out by two toll booths and she will be free.
Drivers are requested to pay particular attention and comply with the signs to avoid traffic accidents and traffic jams.
