By mid-January at the latest, the 150 new drivers hired by the organization will have “taken the wheel” of the OASTH buses, with the aim of strengthening the transport project in Thessaloniki. The first 75, out of a total of 150, will take up their duties on January 5, while from the 8th of the month, the remaining 75 will gradually begin to join the work program.

With the 150 new drivers, on a daily basis, about 50 additional buses, which will strengthen all lines, however, weight will be given to the eight with the highest passenger traffic. Specifically, emphasis will be given to lines 5 (Nea Krini – Venizelou route), 6 (Kalamaria – Venizelou route), 12 (KTEL route – Kato Toumpa), 14 (Ano Toumpa – New Railway Station), 21 (Evosmos – Aristotelous), 28 (T.S. Efkarpias – Sklavenitis – Universities), 32 (Kato Ilioupoli – Aristotelous) and 34 (Upper Ilioupoli – Aristotelous).
