In the coming days, a digital application on the mobile will be put into effect that will concern the car and will include all the necessary documents such as phone license, insurance and KTEO.

This announcement was made to SKAI by the Minister of Digital Governance, Dimitris Papastergiou, who at the same time added that they will follow, in cooperation with the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, checks for cars that operate uninsured and without KTEO.

At the same time, he mentioned the start of checks, in order to clean up the vehicle registry, while he announced that notifications will be sent to citizens about when the KTEO or the insurance of their vehicle will expire.

Referring to the Personal Number for citizens, Mr. Papastergiou spoke of “a major IT reform for the public administration”, as through this, the identity, the VAT number, the AMKA and the Registry number will be unified into one number , so that the citizen does not suffer if in any of these registers, he is written with different information.

Regarding the digital property file, the minister stated that meetings with notaries have already begun to normalize the operation of the platform, while he expressed his optimism that any problems that exist will be resolved, so that transfers can now be made on the same day.
At the same time, he emphasized that since yesterday the draft law for the new cyber security organization, which will have the responsibility of supervising 2000 entities, public and private, has been put into consultation.

“The new Greece is a digital Greece, which is changing and this can be seen in the everyday life of the citizens,” said the minister.
