New restaurants in SP invest in private spaces and event rooms

With an eye on customers seeking privacy, new restaurants in São Paulo have invested in reserved spaces. Houses like Cala del Tanit, by Spanish chef Oscar Bosch, and the kosher Capanema are already appearing with areas dedicated to group meetings.

These are separate spaces from the main hall that can be reserved for corporate events, get-togethers or just an intimate dinner. Some of them are equipped with televisions, waiter service and a special menu.

According to Alexandre Cymes, partner at Ghesta, a consultancy for bars and restaurants, the capital of São Paulo has a large agenda of social and corporate events, but there is a lack of places to host meetings. Restaurants appear to meet this demand. Furthermore, rentals are a form of extra revenue, especially on less busy days.

Below, discover ten addresses with private tables. Most prices are upon request, and in all cases reservations are required.
