Arrested in Rethymno, by police officers of the Narcotics Prosecution Department of the Rethymnon Security Sub-Directorate, a Greek accused of violations of the Legislation on narcotic substances.

In particular, after the use of information by police officers of the above Service, the specific man was identified, mobilized and during a control carried out as well as during the search of his home, the following were found and confiscated: “137.4 grams of cannabis in improvised packaging,

the sum of 120 euros, a precision scale and a telephone device. Also, I.X. was seized. motorcycle as a means of drug trafficking.

The preliminary investigation is carried out by the Drug Prosecution Department of Rethymno.

In another case, a foreigner was arrested for drug possession and trafficking in Rethymnon, with police officers finding a quantity of cocaine and a precision scale. A case file was also filed against the specific person for violation of the Law on Aliens.

Specifically, after using information from the Security Police officers, a search was carried out at the foreigner’s home, during which a total of “90.7 grams of cocaine in improvised packaging and a precision scale were found and confiscated. Additionally, in a check of the foreigner’s legalization documents, it was found that he lacks these and had entered and resided illegally in the country.
