The revelation that there is another person involved in the murder of 19-year-old Alkis and escaping arrest was made by the Minister of Civil Protection, Takis Theodorikakos, speaking to SKAI and the show “Simera”.
“We are aware that there is another person who is a suspect and will be arrested in the coming days, and with this the police believe that the circle of those responsible for this heinous act will have been completed,” he said.
As he reiterated, it is a matter of honor for the Greek police and the rule of law to arrest all those guilty and bring them to justice.
“Yesterday, the Albanian who had left the country the very next day after Alkis’s murder was handed over to ELAS. I hear about someone “big” escaping arrest. For our state and ELAS there is no “small” and “big”. And the last one behind this story will be arrested and brought to justice. The police will reach the end. “Anyone else involved will be arrested.”

The Minister of Citizen Protection noted that the police have intensified the controls in the last few days and are closing illegal associations of “fans” who are a man of hooliganism, violence and crime. “11 such links have already been closed and today there will be 18 additional checks throughout the country,” he said.
