There were two perpetrators of the murder of the 41-year-old pregnant woman from Kalamaria, Thessaloniki, according to the announcement of the Thessaloniki Security Directorate this morning.

As stated in the announcement, on New Year’s Day in the apartment of the 41-year-old’s partner in Kalamaria, her partner and his friend attacked her with a sharp object, after having previously immobilized her. The two took money from the woman how much.

Then they transported her body by car to an inaccessible forest area where it was located yesterday afternoon by police officers of the Crimes Against Life and Personal Freedom Department and the Kalamaria Security Department.

A case file was filed against the two for murder with intent as accomplice, termination of pregnancy and robbery as accomplice and illegal carrying of weapons – use of weapons. The case file will be submitted to the competent prosecutorial authorities.

As it emerged from the police investigation, on 01-01-2024 in the apartment of the 41-year-old’s partner located in the area of ​​Kalamaria, the above attacked her with a sharp object, after having previously immobilized her, while they then transported her body by car to an impassable forest area where it was detected yesterday afternoon (08-01-2024), by police officers of the Crimes Against Life and Personal Freedom Department and the Kalamaria Security Department. In addition, it emerged that they took a sum of money from the woman.

The relevant case file will be submitted to the competent prosecuting authorities”.
