At a rate that exceeded the addition of one service per day, in December 2023, 38 new services were added to gov.gr. So, at the end of 2023, the services of the Greek State offered by the Single Digital Portal gov.gr reached 1,638.

In total, during 2023, 189 services from 40 Public Administration bodies were added to gov.gr. These are either new services, or services that previously existed and joined the Single Digital Portal. In addition, seven additional agencies have included their services on gov.gr for the first time, including the Supreme Court and the Ministry of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection. 62 services were deleted, which were either replaced or removed.

In total, the digital services on gov.gr are provided by 20 ministriesthe Presidency of the Government, 85 institutions and organizations, 13 Independent Authorities and 13 Regions.

2023 was a benchmark for gov.gr, as it was the first field of introduction of Artificial Intelligence in the Greek State, with the use of mAigov. Since the start of the operation of the Digital Assistant, more than 200 thousand dialogues have been held, through which citizens receive personalized information about Public Administration issues.

“All our planning starts and ends with the citizenin improving the services we offer to him, in simplifying his daily life”, emphasized the Minister of Digital Governance, Dimitris Papastergiou and added: “We work methodically within the framework of the government goals of the Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, so that at the end of the four years all public sector processes are provided digitally and every day we come a little closer to this. In March 2020, gov.gr started with 501 services. Reflect on the journey to today’s 1,646.”
