Sexual harassment by two teachers of the school complain at least 12 students of the 3rd Gymnasium-Lyceum of Thessaloniki. In fact, since Wednesday morning, the students have proceeded to a symbolic occupation of the space in order to mobilize for the case, which as they say has been happening for years.
Parents of schoolgirls who were at the scene claimed that the case has reached the hands of the police following complaints from parents according to makthes.gr. Students who are concentrated outside the school talk about many cases of harassment of female students, claiming that they have seen the teacher’s indecent behavior towards their classmates many times!
However, according to information so far, no official complaint has been made about the specific school in the Security of Thessaloniki, with police sources clarifying that it is possible that the Prosecutor has been informed directly and that a second year investigation has been ordered.
In yesterday’s mobilization, students hung vulgar expressions on the door of the school that the teachers allegedly said.
Speaking to ERT, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Education, Alexandros Kopsis, said that the case will be investigated, however, so far no formal complaint has been made.
