The Joint Decision of the Minister of Health Adonis Georgiadis and the Minister of Justice Giorgos Floridis was published in the “Government Gazette” on the inclusion of the active substance hexahydrocannabinol (HHC) and its derivatives in Table B of drugs, after unanimous decision of the Narcotics Commission.

It is emphasized that the incidents of poisoning, fainting and dizziness of young people and minors that occurred contributed to this decision.
Therefore this decision entails:
• Prohibition of the free circulation of products in commerce, in which the above substance is detectable, i.e. in kiosks, retail stores, etc.
• Mandatory withdrawal for traders of products in which this substance is detected and are on the market.
• Penalties imposed on those who do not comply with the decision and do not withdraw these products.
The competent audit levels will initiate audits in order to verify compliance with the new framework and the existence of any violations.
