After 2 years of “silence” the ski center “3-5 Pigadia” reopened

More than 1,000 people, from various parts of Central Macedonia, visited today the ski resort “3-5 Pigadia” in Naoussa, which may have sunk in silence in the last two years, mainly due to the measures applied for the coronavirus pandemic. but the goal of its new owners is to transform it into a tourist resort that will operate 12 months a year, despite the prevailing conditions. Speaking to APE-MPE, Alexandros Noulikas, executive of the company “Mountain Tourism IKE Ski Center Services” stressed this, which after an auction of the Municipality of Naoussa, leased the ski center for the next 23 years, for an annual price of 31,000 euros.

“Today we opened the ski resort” 3-5 Pigadia “, with its conservative operation”, pointed out Mr. Noulikas, reminding that “this year the ski resort will operate partially and with the complete Business plan in our hands in the summer, in 2023 I believe that we will be able to operate it fully. “

So for this year, the ski center “3-5 Pigadia” will be open daily from 9.00 in the morning until 4.00 at noon, and will operate the three sliding lifts S1, S2, S3, serving half of the main track “Aristotelis “, The” Paradise “, the” Paradise plateau “and the lower part of the” Philip “. Also, from today, the Lift Bar operates at the ski center, located at the base of the “Paradise Plateau” lift. Among other things, Mr. Noulikas pointed out that the snow cover in “3-5 Pigadia” is sufficient and satisfactory and all the slopes are paved with snow.

The ski center “3-5 Pigadia” is located on Mount Vermio, at an altitude of 1,430 m – 2,005 m, and its slopes are crossed between a beech forest. It is 17 km from Naoussa and 107 km from Thessaloniki.
