The new laboratory-confirmed cases of the disease recorded in the last 24 hours are 7,105, of which 5 were identified after checks at the country’s gates. The total number of cases amounts to 808,297 (daily change + 0.9%), of which 50.7% are men.

The number of patients treated by intubation is 489 (61.6% men). Their median age is 66 years. 82.8% have underlying disease and / or age 70 years and older. Among intubated patients, 405 (82.82%) are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated and 84 (17.18%) are fully vaccinated. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 3,374 patients have been discharged from the ICU.

The admission of new Covid-19 patients to the hospitals of the territory is 429 (daily change + 4.38%). The average seven-day admission is 385 patients. The median age of cases is 38 years (range 0.2 to 106 years), while the median age of death is 78 years (range 0.2 to 106 years).

Samples tested: From January 1, 2020 until today, in the laboratories that perform tests for the new coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) and that systematically state the total of the samples they test, a total of 7,152,697 clinical samples have been tested while from Health Units and Scales of EODY performing Rapid Ag tests 21,730,733 samples have been tested.

Self-tests: As of November 9, 2021, 50,901,704 self-diagnostic test results have been recorded electronically. Of the 2,879,667 people who came for re-examination, 151,803 positive results have been recorded.

Bulk Sampling EODY: On November 9, 2021, 182 sampling actions were carried out by the Mobile Health Teams (KOMY) of EODY, in which 30,122 Rapid Ag tests were performed and 1,012 positive (3.36%) were found.
