Where all vehicles are temporarily prohibited – The alternative routes
The General Regional Police Directorate of Thessaly announces that, following a decision of the Police Directorate Karditsafor security reasons, due to the rural mobilizations which take place, all vehicles are temporarily prohibitedfor as long as required, at the following points:
- on the Karditsa-Larissa District Road, from the 8th road (Delta Palama level roundabout) to the 11th road (1st intersection of Mataragas – exit VI.PE.),
- in E.O. Karditsa – Lamia, from the 8th road (Delta Palamas level roundabout) to the 15th road (Karpohori junction – Sofadon flyover).
During the ban, vehicular traffic will be conducted by alternative routesas follows:
- Traffic direction from and to Larissa:
All vehicles will be diverted from the Delta Palamas level roundabout, via P.K. Gorgovitan – VI.PE. and entrance to the O. Karditsa – Larissa district (height of the 1st intersection of Mataragas) and vice versa.
- Traffic direction from and to Lamia:
All vehicles will be diverted from the Delta Palamas level roundabout, via P.K. Agioi Theodoros, Karpochorio and entrance to E.O. Trikala – Karditsa – N. Monastiuri (height of the Sofadon flyover) and vice versa.
