They were arrested by police officers of the Traffic Accident Control & Prevention Teams (OTPA) of the Attica Traffic Directorate, 3 drivers, aged 19, 31 and 34who were spotted in the early hours of today (24/1) on Poseidon Avenue in the area of ​​Palei Faliro, carrying out an impromptu fight with each other, developing speed beyond the permitted limit.

Specifically, it was found through a portable Special Electronic Technical Device (radar) that they were moving at speeds of more than 140 km/h instead of the maximum permitted limit of 60 km/h, carrying out an impromptu race with each other and performing continuous dangerous maneuvers, resulting in danger to the other road users while one of the drivers repeatedly violated a red light.

After they were immobilized and during the traffic control, other violations of the traffic legislation were found – as the case may be – (tinted windows, noise pollution, failure to use flashers).

The vehicles involved were confiscated, from their drivers the prescribed administrative sanctions were imposed (administrative fines, removal of traffic data and driving licences) and with the documents filed against them for dangerous driving were taken to the competent Prosecutor.
