Today’s meeting of the Senate of the University of Patras has ended, discussing the future of the examination.
According to the announcement of the unanimous decision, which was issued, the tele-examination solution is not adopted due to possible volatility.
Exceptionally, Erasmus students, undergraduates, PhDs and postdocs will be examined online.
With regard to the courses, which will not be examined this period due to occupancy, the transfer of their examination to the extended examination in conjunction with the courses of the spring semester.
The period 10-18 February 2024 can be used for conducting examinations.

Unanimously finds that:
Mass examination of courses through online means does not guarantee the integrity of the examinationsespecially due to the possibilities given by technological developments in artificial intelligence
and decides unanimously that:
Exceptionally online examination of Erasmus students, as well as bachelor’s, master’s – diploma theses and doctoral theses is allowed
2) The courses of the winter semester that will not be examined in the current examination period, will be examined in an extended examination together with the spring semester examinations.
3) Cases (1) and (2) are applicable for the Departments, which are under occupation.
4) The period 10-18 February 2024 can be used for conducting examinations.
