Padeira, dedicated to artisanal recipes in Vila Madalena, in the western region of São Paulo, started offering discounts for products that were made the day before.

The store, specializing in artisanal breads with natural fermentation, has options that can vary between wholemeal, semi-wholemeal, brioche and puff versions, including croissants, ciabattas and baguettes.

The products, created by Alethea Suedt, use grains ground in the bakery itself and are already packaged. The idea of the initiative is to surprise customers with variety: the flavors are only discovered after purchase and opening the package. But the customer can choose the amount they would like to pay (R$32, R$27, R$19 or R$10).

Discounts vary depending on the type of bread or puff pastry and its size. Buyers can save R$12 on a raisin and Brazil nut bread, which costs R$27, or even purchase a chocolate brioche for R$32 (R$49.50 in original value).
