Prosecution investigation in Thessaloniki for the allegations of sexual harassment of 13 schoolgirls

Prosecution intervention provoked complaints 13 students of the 3rd Gymnasium – Lyceum of Thessaloniki for sexual harassment that they allegedly received from two of their teachers.

By order of the head of the Prosecutor’s Office of Thessaloniki, dconducting a preliminary investigation to investigate whether the offenses of child abuse and sexual misconduct are substantiated.

The investigation is expected to be undertaken by the police.

It is reminded that On Wednesday morning, the students proceeded to symbolically occupy the space in order to mobilize for the case, which as they say has been happening for years.

Parents of schoolgirls who were at the scene claimed that the case has reached the hands of the police following complaints from parents according to makthes.gr.

Students talk about many cases of harassment of schoolgirls, with themselves claiming that they saw many times the teacher’s indecent behavior to their classmates!

However, according to information so far, no official complaint has been made about the specific school in the Security of Thessaloniki, with police sources clarifying that it is possible that the Prosecutor has been informed directly and that a second year investigation has been ordered.

In this particular mobilization, students hung on the school door vulgar expressions that the teachers allegedly said.

Speaking to ERT, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Education, Alexandros Kopsis, said that the case will be investigated, however, so far no formal complaint has been made.
