The lawyer of the founder of the social kitchen “Allos Anthropos”, Nikos Alexandris, spoke this morning on SKAI TV, on the show Today.

For his client, Konstantinos Polychronopoulos, he emphasized that no criminal charges have yet been brought because none of the anonymous “whistleblowers” who speak to the media have made a named complaint.

“The “whistleblowers” have now decided to speak about facts they supposedly knew all these years – Strange timing.

Also, no one has made a named complaint, so legally there is nothing anyone can do.

The hooded people who come out and talk to the media, let them denounce those they know by name, so that their complaints can be checked and charges will be brought by the prosecutor’s office,” said Mr. Alexandris.

“At the moment there is no prosecution or warrant, but there is a very serious investigation (by AADE) and solid evidence of fraud and criminal activity, and this will end up somewhere, when the case file is completed,” said police analyst Stavros Balaskas.

He also suggested to Mr. Polychronopoulos “not to move away” from his base while the investigation is ongoing.
