The 22-year-old was handed over today (14/2) this morning to the General Police Directorate of Thessaloniki and is said to be related to the murder of Alkis Kampanos.
THE 12th alleged perpetrator of the murderous attack against the 19-year-old and his company, arrived at the Police Headquarters at around 08:30 and testified for about six hours to the experienced police officers who have undertaken to solve the case.
He is the man who transported the other three defendants in his car and who was wanted by the police, after mentioning his name as the driver of a gray Polo car. The 22-year-old is expected to be brought – most likely tomorrow – before the prosecutor.
It is noted that the 22-year-old admits that he was driving the third car that was involved in the murderous attack against Alkis Kampanos and his company in Charilaou, however he denies any involvement in the fatal incident.
A statement was made earlier by Minister of Civil Protection, Takis Theodorikakoson the occasion of the arrest of the 12th involved.
