On the occasion of tomorrow’s World Cancer Day (4/2), the Directorate of Public Health and Municipal Clinics of the Municipality of Athens wants to highlight the importance of equality in health, accessibility to care structures and early intervention. Thus, the week from 5/2 to 9/2 will be dedicated to prevention.

The municipality’s Multi-Physicians will conduct free health checks, providing information and information at the same time. The gynaecologists, mammologists and dermatologists of the Municipal Clinics will offer their services free of charge to all citizens by conducting preventive examinations. Screening includes history taking, clinical examination, evaluation of previous tests, prescription and prevention counseling.

At the same time, all Multipurpose Centers will accept telephone appointments for preventive examinations against urological cancer, which will be launched at a later time, as preparation of the recipient of health services is required.

The clinical examinations will take place at the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 6th Municipal Clinics (05/02/2024- 09/02/2024), according to the following schedule and by appointment only:
