The well-known trapper who, together with another person, beat a 22-year-old student, causing a serious hematoma on his head, in the early hours of the previous Friday, in the center of the city, was arrested early Saturday morning in Thessaloniki.
According to the lawsuit, the incident happened in the early hours of last Friday near the intersection of Syngrou and Egnatia streets. According to the statements collected by the police, the 22-year-old who was with two other students, seeing the trapper said to his group “he is known” and then he was attacked. According to the complaint, the trapper headbutted the young man and immediately after that a second person kicked him in the body, causing him to fall to the ground.
The 22-year-old returned home, but felt very unwell and was therefore taken to the hospital. He was found to have a hematoma on his head and had to undergo a six-hour operation, and is now hospitalized in a critical condition in the Intensive Care Unit of the AHEPA hospital.
The trapper allegedly maintains that he did not realize the serious injury of the student, as, after the incident, everyone left the scene.
