More specifically, in the period from February 11 to February 13, 2022 (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) 107 inspections were carried out by the Inter-Service Market Control Unit (DIMEA) for the observance of the measures to limit its dispersion. coronavirus, in Attica, Central Greece and Central Macedonia. Fines totaling 20,100 euros and three suspensions of operation were imposed for a total of 45 days (in three stores of health interest for 15 days of suspension of operation each) for non-compliance with the prescribed operating rules of the market.
It is pointed out that on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, the service imposed another suspension of operation for fifteen days and a fine of 5,000 euros in a personal hygiene service store (manicure – pedicure) for not developing a plexiglass divider in the Region of Central Macedonia.
Trafficking
From the weekly business activity of DIMEA to deal with it illegal trade in the whole territory the following emerges:
1. During the period from 7 February to 13 February 2022, a total of 304 inspections were carried out and 33 infringements related to illegal trade were confirmed.
2. In cooperation with the Hellenic Police and with the assistance of the Municipal Police of Thessaloniki, the operations of DIMEA to deal with the illegal trade took place in Attica, Central Greece and Central Macedonia.
3. Fines of a total amount of 24,500 euros were imposed, for illegal trafficking of counterfeit / counterfeit products.
4. 643 pieces of counterfeit items were confiscated, which were sold from online stores (eshop).
5. 16 pieces of industrial products and used items (no name) were confiscated and destroyed.
