The possibility to submit electronically to a special platform of DYPA the details of their applications that are pending at Greek Land Registry borrowers of the “My Home” program have.

In this way, the beneficiaries are served much more easily and quickly, so that the stipulated loan disbursement times for the property they wish to acquire are respected.

This platform is being implemented following a memorandum of cooperation recently signed by DYPA and the “Hellenic Land Registry” for the swift completion of joint actions for “My Home”, with the cooperation of the Ministers of Social Cohesion and Family Sophia Zaharakis and Digital Governance Dimitris Papastergiou and the Deputy Minister of Digital Governance Constantinos Kyranakis.

In particular, the platform directly allows borrowers to register and track their open applications at the country’s cadastral offices.

In a statement, the Minister of Social Cohesion and Family, Sophia Zacharakis points out: “We are simplifying and speeding up the procedures of the My Home program even more.” To date, 3,686 young women and men, up to 39 years old, found the house they wanted, and their loan was disbursed in record time. With the platform implemented, thanks to our excellent cooperation with the Hellenic Land Registry, we enable the beneficiaries themselves, with a few clicks, to complete the actions required to control the property. Without hassle and stress about their loan disbursement deadlines”

The Minister of Digital Governance Dimitris Papastergiou stated: “We are particularly happy that the actions of the Ministry of Digital Governance are directly improving the daily lives of citizens in so many areas. For the beneficiaries of the “My Home” program, time is an extremely important factor, so that they can acquire a home as soon as possible and, now, the Greek Land Registry makes it easier for them”.

The Deputy Minister of Digital Governance Konstantinos Kyranakis said: “For us, it is vital for the new couples that the ‘My House’ scheme succeeds and that is why transfer applications will be considered on a priority basis”

The Governor of DYPA, Spyros Protopsaltis said: “Thousands of young people will be able to buy their first home faster. Citizens using the “My Home” program will now be served in a more efficient and modern way through the new special platform created, after our fruitful collaboration with the Hellenic Land Registry”

The President of the Hellenic Land Registry, Stelios Sakaretsios said: “Through the Land Registry application platform created for the My Home program we enable new couples to have priority in transferring their contract, ensuring that processes are followed to meet their loan deadlines. In this way, more young couples will find it easier to acquire their first home.”
