The farmers in the blockades proceed with short-hour blockades of roads, highways and customs
Today, Thursday, the farmers of the blocks of Western Macedonia are conducting hourly road blockades.
Specifically, today they will proceed with blocking the Egnatia Road from 15:30-16:30 in Grevena at the junction of Myrsini, the provincial road of Kozani – Florina at the junction of Filota from 16:00 to 17:00, while it was also decided to close the customs office Kastoria at 12 noon.
Masses of farmers at noon on Friday will proceed to close the Florina – North Macedonia border for 4 hours, mainly blocking passing trucks.
The farmers are proceeding with a two-hour symbolic blockade of the road in front of the junction of Filotas Florinas today from 4 to 6 in the afternoon.
A meeting will follow in order, in cooperation with the Panhellenic Bloc Committee, to plan their next mobilizations.
Farmers and breeders from the prefectures of Karditsa and Farsala continue their mobilization while they await the government’s response, and with an eye on Athens for a tractor rally.
On Friday, at 6:30 a.m., they are organizing a large rally in the central square of Karditsa, while today they are expecting traders, craftsmen and other freelancers, who will go to the block in a motorcade and participate in blocking the highway.
Today, at 8:30 in the evening, the General Secretary of the KKE, Dimitris Koutsoubas, will be at the block.
