Last Wednesday afternoon, three young people involved in a robbery at a shop in the area of ​​Chalkidona were arrested, after searches by police officers of the Chalkidona Security Department.

They are Roma minors aged 15 and 16, who, as emerged from the police investigation, together with two more of their accomplices, last Tuesday morning, in a vehicle that they had stolen the previous day from Alexandria Imathia, approached a stationery store in the area of ​​Chalkidona, which they broke into and removed from the interior various products worth approximately 1,000 euros.

It is noted that the perpetrators, during their escape, rammed the 39-year-old owner of the store with their vehicle, who had run to the scene, resulting in his slight injury.

From the further investigation by the police, it also emerged that the young people broke into a cafe in the Adendros area of ​​Thessaloniki in the early hours of last Tuesday, from where they took away alcoholic beverages and a television.

In addition, a case file was filed for the crime of neglecting the supervision of minors against the parents of the above, while the stolen vehicle was located in an irrigation canal in the area of ​​Chalcedon and was handed over to its owner.

Those arrested with the case filed against them will be prosecuted competently.
