Zendaya, Timothée Chalamet and the rest of the film’s cast “Dune: Part Two”directed by Denis Villeneuve, appeared at the premiere held on Thursday night in London, with the former stealing the show again, thanks to her Mugler metallic jumpsuit.
The 27-year-old actress wore one of Mugler’s iconic pieces from the Fall/Winter 1995-96 collection, which was tailored specifically for her.
The epic sequel stars Timothee Salamet, Austin Butler, Florence Pugh and Zendaya and newcomers Christopher Walken and Léa Seydoux. Dune: Part 2 will be “stronger” than the first in 2021, according to director Denis Villeneuve.
“It’s a huge relief that the film is finally out,” Villeneuve told the BBC. He added that he will be “biting his nails” until the film’s theatrical release.
The first film focused more on building the world in which it takes place, in the second part, “Dune: Part 2″ will show the effects of the events that happened in the first part, he clarified. “The first film was more contemplative. We were following a young man who discovers a new planet, a new civilization,” said Denis Villeneuve. The film will be shown in theaters on March 1, with the delay due to the actions of actors and screenwriters in Hollywood.
