Both Manolis Mavrommatis and his wife are intubated and placed on mechanical support

b.- Irini Mavromati, 80 years old (wife), with deep partial and full thickness Thermal Burns involving parts of the face, upper and lower limbs and trunk, with greater damage to the left side of the body, Total Burn
Surface (40%) of the Total Body Surface and with evidence of inhalation burn.
The patient was intubated due to a compromised airway and placed on mechanical respiratory support.
He underwent escharotomies on his left hand and forearm.
2. The patients are hospitalized in the Burns Unit, in the Plastic Surgery Clinic and their condition is considered extremely critical, for the next (48) hours.
