Citizens are expected to face great inconvenience on their commutes next Wednesday, February 28, due to the 24-hour strike announced by ADEDY.

Specifically, the railway will remain immobilizedas well as intercity and suburban.

At the same time, the workers are also expected to participate in the 24-hour strike in the means of fixed orbit of Attica (metro and tram lines 1, 2 and 3). However, today Monday, the final decisions are expected to be made.

Concerning the buses of Attica will run from 09:00 to 21:00, after the workers announced two work stoppages at the beginning and end of the shift, according to a decision of the OASA Workers’ Union. Full restoration of traffic should be expected from 10:00, while the last services are expected to depart from the departure points around 20:00.

At the same time, Attica will be without taxis on Tuesday 27 and Wednesday 28 February 2024 and for 48 hours as SATA has announced a strike.

Fixed orbit media workers have yet to make any final decisions.

Finally, no flights will be operated to and from Greek airports on Wednesday, and the air traffic controllers are participating with a 24-hour strike in the ADEDY mobilization.
