As pointed out in the announcement, similar excursions will continue in the field of preventing and dealing with the phenomenon of juvenile delinquency.
Special actions for the prevention of juvenile delinquency were planned and implemented by the Police in areas of Attica and Piraeus, afternoon and evening hours during the three days 23 to 25 February 2024.
The actions were developed with the participation of police officers from the Juvenile Protection Sub-Directorate, the Athens Security Sub-Directorate, the Southeast Attica Security Sub-Directorate, the North-East Attica Security Sub-Directorate, the Piraeus Security Sub-Directorate and the West Attica Security Sub-Directorate.
As it became known from ELAS, a total of 771 checks were carried out by the police officers of the above services in their areas of responsibility, in places where minors gather and incidents of juvenile delinquency occur.
The purpose of the actions is the collection of further data and the mapping of the movement of minors involved in the above incidents, which will be the subject of evaluation and investigation for the planning of targeted future actions.
