The unfortunate 52-year-old was burned to death in his car, on Monday night, near Platanos Almyros
THE George Trikalinos, son of professor and secretary of SYRIZA to Almyros Christos Trikalinos who passed away last May, is the 52-year-old who charred in his car, on Monday night, near Platanos Almyrou, in Volos.
The unfortunate man lived in Netherlands where he worked as chef and had come to Greece a week ago to settle inheritance cases. He was married and the father of one child.
The accident happened yesterday around 11 pm, when the passenger car he was driving veered off course, entered a rural road where it overturned and came to rest in trees, according to police. It then caught fire resulting in the total destruction of the vehicle, while the driver was charred. The Almyros Police Department is conducting a preliminary investigation into the causes and circumstances of the accident.
According to information available to them gegonota.news, the car had a gas engine and that’s why it exploded in record time.
The 52-year-old driver Giorgos Trikalinos did not have time to react. His body was taken to Hospital of Volos and it is expected to be dna identification.
