Jennifer Lopez continued her mission to record her love story with him Ben Affleck, releasing the third part of the tribute to her husband. On Monday, her new documentary, “The Greatest Love Story Never Told”released on Amazon Prime, as a sequel to This Is Me… Now: A Love Story.
The couple’s love story began in 2002, when they dated during the filming of the movie “Jersey Girl”. They got engaged the following year, but split in 2004. However, the couple, known as ‘Bennifer’, were meant to be back together and even ‘united’ in the holy bonds of matrimony.
In the new documentary, the two detail the ups and downs of their romance, with Affleck revealing that he initially asked his wife to keep their relationship off social media.

During their reconciliation, two decades after their first engagement, the 51-year-old two-time Oscar winner admitted he had no interest in joining his 54-year-old wife’s social media accounts.
“When we got back together, I said, ‘Listen, one of the things I don’t want is a social media relationship,'” the actor recalled. “Then somehow I realized that it is not fair to ask for such a thing. It’s kind of like being married to a ship captain and saying, ‘Well, I don’t like water.'”.

And he continued: “We’re just two people with different approaches, trying to learn to get along.”
Ultimately, Jennifer Lopez respected his wishes. During the documentary, the mother of two acknowledged her husband’s discomfort at being “bombarded” by the media on a daily basis about their relationship.
“I don’t think Ben is very comfortable with me doing all that,” she said. “But he loves me, he knows I’m an artist, and he’ll support me in any way he can.”

Elsewhere in the documentary, Jennifer Lopez broke down in tears as she confessed that what her husband made her see in herself was “touching”. “What he saw in me and what he made me believe in myself, only comes from love. No one else could have made me see this for myself. It is very moving. Because I didn’t think much of myself and so people didn’t think much of me. This was the same. I never lost my love for this man”.

Ben Affleck also addressed his problems with alcohol in the documentary, comparing his struggle to his “wife’s need for love”. “What you discover, as with alcohol, is that there is not enough alcohol in all the cellars of the world to fill this thing, the void inside you.”he added.
